A day at Margie's pool

Today was such a fun day, especially for Waylon. We started out our day at the rec center pool for Andie's swimming lessons. She hasn't been a big fan and I've struggled with whether or not to make her go. Last week she cried the entire time. Today was the last day of lessons. We decided to take her but to allow her to swim with us while her lessons were going on. I think teaching her to finish what she starts is so important. In the meantime, Justin worked (played of course) with Waylon on reaching for the side of the pool and then scooting to the stairs. Waylon absolutely loved it and has continued his reputation from last year of being a water baby. After swim lessons we went to Target and got a few things for Margie's make-up memorial day party. We went home for an hour, got some dishes to take and were on our way. Waylon found the slide immediately. He stayed there for 4 hours. Down the slide, in the water, under the water, to the stairs, and down the slide again all with a big toothy smile! Justin and I took shifts. Needless to say, after 4 hours he was exhausted and went down for a nap with no problems in Margie's room just as he does when she keeps him. Still not done with the day we headed to Buffalo Wild Wings with the Decker family. What a fun day!

Screaming Mall Mama

So we adventured out to the mall today in hopes of finding some cheap on sale outfits to wear to the Braves game this weekend. Our day started with Andie's foot appointment and then to the UPS store to return some shoes for Waylon. All went well. I was surprisingly proud of myself for waking up at 9:15 and having to get to our first stop at 10:00. My wonderful husband let me sleep....not remembering the appt. So, reflecting on how well I handled all that, listening to Keith, and calmly chatting with my babies, we decided to head to the mall. All was great, we got some shopping done and even found some deals. Then, the fact that I only had the single stroller took effect on Andie Jewel. She wanted me to hold her. So I did, as I pushed Waylon down the mall. Still proud of my composure we decided to hold off on lunch for a while. Not so bright. One more stop I told myself. So, I gave Andie my favorite viva la glam lipstick to keep her occupied. It did. She had on more lipstick than a model at a photoshoot. She lagged behind us, putting on more lipstick for next 30 minutes. We had lunch and then decided to shop some more. By the end of the trip I was screaming to Andie to stay with us and to stop applying viva la glam. The lady in Baby Gap probably called dfacs on me and I'll be in jail for being a lunatic come tomorrow. By the time we got in the car we were all three crying and exhausted. My my, no one told me days at the mall were over after a 3 and almost 2 year old. As they were asleep before we got out of the parking lot, I got myself together and came to my senses of how ridiculous it was for me to expect them to handle all that. I can't blame them.

addition to Two handsome Weaver men

The picture of Justin and Waylon was taken at Williamson Medical when Waylon sliced his toe open on a air filter. I know, random! He got three stitches while 4 people held him down while wrapped in a sheet looking like a burrito. Not fun for Mommy or Daddy! However, God blessed us with a healed toe in less than a week!

The two handsome Weaver men

Waylon is talking more and more everyday..when he gets a chance too! LOL! His newest cutest thing came from watching Finding Nemo. I told him to tell Nemo not to cry. Now he goes around looking for criers and says in a cute little tiny voice, "go go gon't cry." He says it to his big sis quite a few times a week now. He even said it to a girl in line at the movie box in Kroger. Justin said it was a teenager complaining about not being able to get the movie she wanted. Justin cracked up and had to take Waylon and walk away!

Andie got her ears pierced!

Sweet little Andie got her ears pierced over Spring Break. She asked us if she could so we took a girls trip to the mall! She picked out "February" earrings. This little wince is the worst that it ever got. She was such a big girl. When she got down, she said "Mommy, are you so proud of me? I was such a big girl." Oh my! It's amazing what a little bitty 3 year old can do to your heart. She's my angel. What a fun day!

Blogging! I'm doing it! I'm diving in!

Well, I'm doing it! Blogging! What a concept! I've been looking at some friends blogs and decided to begin documenting our fun times! We make so many memories every day. I'm finished with Andie and Waylon's baby books and am working on their photo albums from 13 months until now. I'm almost out of pages and have wondered how I will continue to document memories that we make every day. As I was looking at a friends archived blogs, I wondered if they could be printed for documentation in lieu of a scrap book. In reality, if I want to stay sane and enjoy making memories, scrap booking isn't for me. I would be worried constantly about how far behind I am on the pages. So, I called my blogger friend and she informed me that you can archive and make digital scrap books from the archived blogs! So here I am, excited and feeling ambitious!! Thanks Jessica!!
